Kichton Construction LP is looking for an experienced Foreman to join our fast-growing Fort McMurray team. We are looking for an adaptable individual looking to learn and grow within our company. This position would work for Kichton Construction LP at a client location.

Successful applicants must complete pre-employment Drug & Alcohol testing.

This position may be required to complete random Drug & Alcohol testing through their employment in accordance with the Canadian Model based on project and Client requirements.

**Job Summary**

The Foreman is responsible for facilitating and organizing all crews, equipment, and materials to complete work scopes in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective manner. The Foreman must be able to work safely and efficiently and positively participate in our Company safety culture.

**Responsibilities**
- Review, understand, and follow all safe work practices and procedures.
- Lead and mentor employees in safe work practice and knowledge.
- Maintain regular communication with Supervisors and Project Managers regarding projects’ process, risks, and forecasts.
- Establish and maintain highest quality of task completion and materials.
- Facilitate morning toolbox talks and site/company meetings.
- Ensure employees review, understand, and follow all Company policies.
- Coach and discipline employees who are not meeting performance standards or violate Company policies.
- Complete daily documentation thoroughly, including: FLHAs (Field Level Hazard Assessments), timesheets, pre
- and post-inspections of all tools and equipment, and any other paperwork required.
- Report incidents, near misses, equipment damage, and hazards to Supervisors immediately.
- Groundwork as required.

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years of experience leading crews in civil construction and mining environments.
- 10+ years of experience in the construction industry.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License without restrictions.
- Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or equivalent.
