Janitorial Technician

Job Title: Janitorial Technician - Baseball Facility

We are working with a premier baseball facility located in Sylvan Lake, dedicated to providing an exceptional experience to players, coaches, and spectators. This state-of-the-art facility offers top-notch training facilities, pristine playing fields, and a vibrant atmosphere for all baseball enthusiasts. As they continue to grow and host various events, we are seeking 2 reliable and detail-oriented Custodians to join our team and help maintain the cleanliness and organization of our facility throughout the 2023 season.

Position Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Clean and sanitize restroom facilities, including toilets, sinks, and countertops, ensuring a hygienic environment for all visitors.
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste materials properly.
- Clean and disinfect locker rooms and shower areas to maintain a clean and presentable facility.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including windowsills, handrails, and fixtures.
- Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed.
- Keep common areas, such as hallways, lobbies, and concession stands, clean and organized.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.
- Adhere to facility policies and safety guidelines at all times.

Qualifications:

- Previous custodial or janitorial experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with mínimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift heavy objects when necessary.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the facility schedule.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift

**Experience**:

- Janitorial: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
