**Length of term**: 8 months (September 2023 - April 2024)

**Hybrid/Remote**:This co-op opportunity is voluntarily in person, remote or hybrid. If you decide remote or hybrid, you will be required to work within the province. Remote work outside of the province will not be a possibility.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Analyst, Digital Finance Transformation, the Financial Analyst, Co-op will work with the Finance Accelerator to support Process Optimization & Automation, IFRS 17 Readiness Acceleration and Reporting Optimization through business intelligence and other tools.

**What will you do?**
- Analyze and validate financial and analytic results and provide testing support for new developments to ensure solutions are delivered with the highest quality
- Participate in innovative solutioning that encompass root cause analysis, assessment of options, proof of concept and a comprehensive implementation plan
- Identify and track benefits of opportunities in our pipeline and delivered solutions to demonstrate value to our stakeholders
- Active communications with internal clients, including engagement status, solutioning options and recommendations
- Support all initiatives and driving assigned tasks to completion

**What do you need to succeed?**
- Working towards a post-secondary degree in business (Finance, Math or related field)
- Genuine interest in process improvement and a passion to deliver on process efficiency
- Proficient in Excel (including VBA, Power Query and Power Pivot) and knowledge of Tableau, Python, data management and SQL is advantageous
- Excellent time management and strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet numerous deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to take initiative, desire to learn and work independently

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted for. The Base Pay which you will be considered for will vary depending on the Campus program you are selected for.
