Full Time Temporary Educational Assistant
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School is a Grade 5 to 8 School
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School in Spruce Grove, AB is currently seeking an Educational Assistant to assist students with mobility, including lifting and transferring them safely and provide support with personal care tasks, including toileting and hygiene.
The assignment is to begin as soon as possible and end June 27, 2025 of the 2024-2025 school year.
Salary range $18.98 - $26.83 as per Support Terms and Conditions of Employment.
Experience utilizing strength-based, trauma informed practices
Experience working with students with diverse needs
Able to effectively deal with crisis situation; physically able to lift and/or protect
Supporting Individuals through Valued Attachments training
Mental Health First Aid or equivalent
Diploma in child/youth care, Educational Assistant Certificate and experience with Speech/Language Assistance are assets
