We are currently looking for **Inspector for our Boiler, and Pressure Vessel Program service Sarnia and surrounding areas.**

**Position Summary**:
We are looking for an individual with a strong ability to communicate, one who can present in a concise, clear, and articulate manner. As an Inspector, you also have to educate, present and propagate safety to public. You will need the ability to quickly adapt to change and realign with business priorities. You should have the disposition to follow scientific methods in order to determine root cause of incidents.

**What you will do?**
- Promote public safety through the periodic/in-service inspection and certification of boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping
- Perform both conventional and nuclear shop inspections for the manufacturing of boilers and pressure vessels
- Develop progressive relationships with your internal and external customers to promote safety-oriented results.

**What will you need to succeed?**
- Qualified to write the Ontario Certificate of Competency and will be able to obtain the National Board Commission and ‘A’ and ‘N’ Endorsements.
- Five years’ experience in the BPV industry is coupled with a comprehensive understanding of related CSA and ASME BPV codes, the Technical Standards and Safety Act, and BPV Regulations
- Manage your own schedule and deliver timely service to your customers, utilizing effective decision-making, business management, communication, and intermediate computer skills
- As this position requires daily travel, a valid Ontario driver’s license is required.

**Salary**: From $79,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- BPV: 5 years (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
