**Job Description**:
AECOM GTA is currently seeking an on-call Operation & Maintenance and Service Readiness Manager with extensive specialized skills in passenger and freight rail, to join our Transit & Rail Systems Team and work with a multidisciplinary team delivering an existing and future portfolio of projects.

**Job Summary**:
+ Plans, directs, and supervises all operations included in moderately sized projects with moderate risk, complexity, and financial impact.

+ Manages and leads all technical, financial, and client satisfaction areas using consistent processes and tools.

+ May include management of small teams across business lines, in remote locations and/or management of subcontractors.

+ Manages projects on a local to regional basis achieving quality outcomes, financial performance and client satisfaction.

+ Successfully develops strategy, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and executes project.

+ Acts as primary point of contact with client.

**+ Inspection activities including**:
+ Quality Assurance, complete progress and condition reports, inspection and diagnosis of track, signals and right-of-way infrastructure for both light and heavy rail.

+ Review and develop maintenance programs and schedules including:
+ Using deep industry experience provide reliability centered maintenance and assurance for both light and heavy rail.

+ Rail systems maintenance procedures

+ Asset management and maintenance strategies of rail systems, including overhead catenary and track maintenance vehicles.

+ Review geometry and rail flaw testing results and identify corrective actions.

+ Review and optimize warranty management processes.

**+ Business growth and client relations including**:
+ Working with clients to identify opportunities for improvement in areas of operations and maintenance and revenue service readiness.

+ Participate in review of project and business opportunities and provide advice to Transit and Rail Systems team on technical concepts and approaches for operational readiness.

+ Build professional relationships with clients, contractors and industry leaders.

+ Working with Transit and Rail Systems team and/or project teams including:
+ Provide advice on technical governance in projects.

+ Contribute to development of strategy to manage fit-for-purpose engineering design.

+ Provide technical expertise in development of technical specifications, design review and work methods.

+ Provide advice on safety and project delivery in line with AECOM safety processes and protocols.

+ Provide technical oversight during project delivery.

+ Develop operations and maintenance readiness and transition planning from project to operations.

+ Provide advice and develop commissioning and handover planning.

+ Bachelor Degree + 10+ years of relevant experience in Rail Systems, operations and maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance OR Diploma + 12 years of relevant
