**Hoco Hotels is seeking f/t Room Attendants for our hotels in Stratford - The Windsor Hotel, The Stratford Hotel, Wellington Street Inn, and St. George Suites**

The Room Attendant is an integral part of the Housekeeping Team who collectively is responsible for the cleanliness and attention to detail of the hotel. The Room Attendant services guest rooms and guest housekeeping requests and is responsible for their overall comfort level.

We are looking for individuals who possess a high level of attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This role has direct involvement with guests; excellent communication skills and command of the English language is required. Individuals need to be able to clean guest rooms accordingly to Brand Standards. This position requires standing for the majority of the shift and requires the ability to lift at least 40lbs. This position requires an applicant with a flexible schedule and the ability to work Weekends and Holidays.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Dust furniture.
- Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture.
- Sweep, mop and wash floors.
- Make beds and change sheets.
- Distribute clean towels and toiletries.
- Stock linen closet.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures.
- Clean and disinfect elevators.
- Handle and report lost and found items.
- Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items.
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers.
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
- Clean all common areas when required to ensure that common areas are maintained and that brand standards are met.
- Ensure that all lost and found items are properly documented and communicated to the front desk agents.
- Assist other departments wherever necessary and maintain a strong and professional working relationship.
- Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks.
- Be environmentally conscious.
- Manage guest requests in a timely and efficient manner.
- Greet guests in a friendly manner.
- Record data regarding work assignments.
- Help motivate and foster a team atmosphere within the housekeeping department and hotel as a whole.
- Maintain proper attendance.
- All other duties as assigned.
