Here are the characteristics we're looking for:

- newly retired or semi-retired person - while there is not a lot of work involved, the needs pertaining to driving to appointments or other engagements/errands may happen at different times during the week. A calendar would be in place so that appointments and outings would be set with advance notice.
- fluent in English
- has a legal right to live in Canada (no sponsorships)
- previous experience in home support, healthcare or working with seniors in some way, preferred but not mandatory
- there is a senior dog in the home and so the person must like dogs
- willing to do light housekeeping
- can drive the senior to errands and appointments (senior will provide a car)
- can accompany the senior to social engagements such as church or other social events.

The senior is fairly independent and mobile; no personal care is currently required nor expected to be required in the near future.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $1,000.00 per month
