Established Childcare in Richmond Hill looking for experienced Early Childhood Assistants and Educators.

Early Childhood Assistants will be responsible for supporting the classroom and main educator in implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum, as well as maintain paperwork in compliance with Ministry of Education standards, aid children in their daily routines; including (but limited to) feeding, diapering/toileting, napping, and transitions.

Early Childhood Assistants must have a current vulnerable sector check and CPR and First Aid certificate.

Early Childhood Educators will be responsible for helping create developmentally appropriate curriculum, maintain paperwork in compliance with Ministry of Education standards, aid children in their daily routines; including (but limited to) feeding, diapering/toileting, napping, and transitions.

Early Childhood Educators must be in good standing with the college of ECE, and have a current vulnerable sector check and CPR and First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities include:

- Lead young children's activities, tell stories, teach songs and prepare craft materials.
- Maintain supervision of children at all times, including in the classroom, hallways, and outdoors
- Prepare and serve snacks according to public health standards.
- Help children eat, dress, sleep, and use the toilet/change diapers.
- Discuss children's progress and challenges at staff meetings.
- Help supervisors keep records by filling out attendance, cleaning logs, injury reports, and sleep checks.
- Maintain and clean daycare equipment.
- Keep close communications with parents and caregivers
- Monitor and post daily activities through a childcare app via an iPad
- Be sensitive to the feelings of family members and fellow employees.
- Have good communication skills.

Knowledge of the Hebrew language is a great asset.

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
