**Global Commodity Manager, Emergency Lighting**:

**This position reports to**:
Global Operations Manager, Emergency Lighting

**Your responsibilities**:

- Defining and owning global cost management strategies by liaising with local procurement teams and optimizing global synergies.
- Influencing and coaching local procurement teams to increase collaboration and overall performance of the function.
- Implementing effective sourcing strategies in line with business & category, regional/global Continuous Improvement Process Sourcing (CIPS) strategies to ensure that suppliers have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
- Optimizing global tools and processes including process optimization and standardization to ensure Procurement activities are meeting objectives and expectations.
- Owning KPIs to drive performance improvement including planning and tracking of procurement activities, cost, budgets, emerging country sourcing spending, savings forecasts, business continuity strategies, and contractual requirements.
- Executing effective and transparent communication internally, externally and between different units and centers to drive cross-functional collaboration.

**Your background**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in management & strategic / technical purchasing in a manufacturing environment. Experience in a technical or industrial global matrix environment is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or other relevant coursework. ISM or CPSM certification is a plus.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint & SAP. Knowledge of AS-400 MRP systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated influence skills, with a collaborative, solution-focused approach.
- High comfort level in leading change in a fast-paced environment and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Availability to travel.
