**Reporting to the Division General Manager, the Proprietary Representative is accountable for implementing and supporting sales and sales programs of our propriety offerings to help drive financial growth.**
**What you will do**:
- Execute work the Nutrien Way - engaging in corporate programs and practices to bring our Culture of Care to life
- Creates and builds positive relationships to impact and influence the success of the product portfolio
- Support the Retail team to grow the seed line within the Proven seed portfolio and key products with the LPI offering
- Collaborate with leadership to execute our strategic technical and marketing efforts
- Achieve sales and margin targets for the proprietary portfolios
- Stay abreast of new technologies, and competitive information including pricing and programming, customer needs, and other changes that impact Proprietary offerings
- Provide leadership and coaching to meet performance targets
- Investigate and evaluate product feedback, including cost analysis and action planning
- Collaborate in the coordination of all Proven and LPI product positioning communication to the Division leadership, sales staff, and customers
- Support local tours of R&D farms and the breeding R&D stations
- Collaborates to execute the proprietary products’ performance plots, demo plots, strip trials, plot tours, and data collection
- Execute our culture of care and comply with all Nutrien Ag Solutions’ and industry regulatory and EH&S standards
**What you will bring**:
- Undergraduate degree in agriculture or business marketing, or equivalent in experience (Certified Crop Advisor, an asset)
- 3+ years’ experience in sales and/or marketing within the Agriculture Industry
- Valid Canadian Driver’s License
- Solid understanding of agribusiness, sales and crop production (knowledge of plant nutrients products is a definite asset)
- Proficiency with computers, MS Word/Excel
- Work from home office within defined territory (with some traveling on a regular basis throughout territory given)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment and available to work extended hours in busy season
