Are you a self-reliant, motivated individual who has a desire to work in the financial services industry? We are a full-service wealth management firm located in downtown Vancouver looking for someone who takes ownership of tasks, exhibits impeccable attention to detail and shows excellent judgment.

We are looking for someone available Monday to Friday 8:30 - 2:00 _(some flexibility in the hours)_. This position is available immediately and will require working on premise. You will be assisting a senior wealth advisor and two associates with the day-to-day operations of a busy financial advisory business.

**Key Duties and Accountabilities**:

- Coordinate client investment transactions, including processing trades, account opening, compliance documents, and follow-ups;
- Assist team in their performance of their duties and provide customer service in all related manners;
- Maintain client files (paper and electronic) and assist in preparation for client meetings and post-meeting follow-up;
- Manage incoming and outgoing client correspondence, both written and verbal;
- Assist with coordinating insurance administration and follow-ups.

**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**:

- Mutual Fund & Life Insurance experience preferred;
- Working knowledge of computer software and programs used in the financial industry, including Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, OneDrive) and SalesForce CRM;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills;
- Work experience in the financial services industry preferred;
- Organizational and administrative skills required to perform activities with varying degrees of priority;
- Attention to detail and accuracy with handling figures a must;
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment;
- Initiative;
- A positive, upbeat attitude.

**Complexities and Challenges**:

- Ensuring accuracy in all client service activities;
- Responding to client inquiries;
- Responding to multiple information requests from advisors and clients;
- Responding to changing priorities and work environment.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 25 per week
