Able to organize, control and prioritize area of responsibility and to carry out to completion on an agreed timetable and to abide by all Vicwest health and safety rules.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Loads lumber into saw for cutting to correct dimensions
- Assembles crates and skids with pneumatic nail gun as per drawings and profile required
- Closes packaging in manner to protect products being shipped
- Turns in Crating documents to Production Office
- Maintains a safe and clean working environment
- Performs daily inspection check lists and reports all safety hazards to supervisor
- Completes all safety checks before the start of inspections

**EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE**:

- Grade 12 diploma
- ISO quality of standard experience

**SKILL**
- High mechanical aptitude
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift 40+lbs.
