**ABOUT THE POSITION**

**Your responsibilities will include**:
**Strategic Planning & Leadership;**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives
- Provide visionary leadership, guidance and direction to the IT team

**IT Infrastructure Management;**
- Oversee the management, maintenance and enhancement of the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks and communication systems
- Identify opportunities to upgrade or replace outdated hardware and software components

**Software and Application Management;**
- Manage software lifecycle, including acquisition, deployment, updates and licensing compliance
- Evaluate, recommend and implement software solutions that improve efficiency and productivity across departments

**Cybersecurity and Data Protection;**
- Implement and maintain robust cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Develop and oversee disaster recovery and business continuity plans

**Vendor Management;**
- Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to ensure seamless delivery of IT services
- Negotiate contracts, manage vendor relationships and monitor service levels

**Team Management and Development;**
- Build and lead a high performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement
- Provide mentorship, training and professional development opportunities for team members

**Budgeting and Resource Allocation;**
- Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation to meet organizational needs
- Ensure cost-effective procurement of hardware, software and IT services

**Technology Trends and Innovation;**
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to the non-profit sector
- Identify opportunities for technology innovation to advance the organization’s mission and vision

**Qualifications and Skills**
- A Bachelor degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, PMP, AWS) a definite plus
- 3 - 5 years proven experience in IT leadership roles, including IT infrastructure management, software development and team management
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and data protection regulations
- Demonstrated experience in project management and implementing technology solutions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, teambuilding and leadership skills
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to the needs of a non-profit environment
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite and Hubspot considered an asset
