Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Tool Crib Attendant based in our Dartmouth NS location. As a Tool Crib Attendant, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our tool inventory, ensuring that tools are properly stored, issued, and returned. This is a crucial role in our organization as it directly impacts the efficiency and productivity of our operations.
**Responsibilities**:
- Analyze tool usage and demand to determine appropriate inventory levels
- Assist purchasing department to procure tools and equipment from suppliers based on demand planning
- Maintain accurate records of tool inventory, including tracking issuance and returns
- Organize and maintain the tool crib area for easy access and efficient storage
- Inspect tools for damage or defects and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely availability of tools for various projects
- Utilize tool tracking systems to properly track tool management
**Skills**:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Proficiency in materials management and procurement processes
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and tools
- Ability to effectively communicate with team members and suppliers
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Minimum one (1) year of experience is required
- Valid Class five (5) driver’s license
- Basic Computer Skills are require
- Ability to speak, write and read English is required
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
