**The Role**:
SV Law has an exciting opportunity for a Lawyer within our busy Civil Litigation Practice Group. You will be exposed to a broad range of matters, including corporate commercial disputes, construction disputes, condominium disputes, and estate litigation. You will be responsible for:

- meeting and communicating with clients;
- conducting and reviewing legal research;
- drafting and reviewing documents, including correspondence, legal opinions, pleadings, briefs, etc.;
- appearing before courts.

You will be one of 9 lawyers in our Civil Litigation Practice Group. We offer robust mentorship and training opportunities, and you will have the opportunity to build your own Civil Litigation practice with the ability to specialize being available.

**What You Bring**:
We are seeking a driven and talented lawyer with 2 to 5 years of experience to join our Civil Litigation Practice Group at our Guelph location and who:

- is a member of the Ontario Bar in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario;
- has the ability to effectively manage a high volume of work, is self-motivated and entrepreneurial;
- has excellent research, drafting and negotiation skills, and is detail-oriented;
- is eager to take the lead on files as the opportunity arises;
- is team-oriented and collaborative; and
- has an enthusiastic and responsive approach to client requirements with excellent people skills.
