**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and execute automated and manual tests of features and functions for our software product
- In association with the Development team, assist to define a test plan for the product
- Contribute to agile sprint activities including retrospective reviews of product delivery
- Monitor test execution and evaluate readiness of builds for release
- Prepare acceptance criteria, interact closely with our development teams, and provide clarity and guidance throughout the product execution and delivery
- Ability to work with distributed and remote teams, in the context of an agile environment
- Review platform issues and establish the priorities for remediation with the development team
- Lead the issue and triage sessions working with development and operations members

**Qualifications**
- At least 2 years’ experience in a Test / QA setting for web-based software project(s)
- Formal education in a relevant field at a minimum bachelor’s level, preferably advanced and specialized education
- Experience using test automation tools, preferably with Selenium
- Experience with bug tracking tools (ie. Jira) and test care management tools
- Working knowledge of SQL
- Must be able to write queries to validate test cases
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication, ability to multi-task
- Self-starter, professional maturity, thrives in fast paced start-up environment, self-sufficient in highly technical environment, and discrete (patent pending technologies)

**Educational Background**
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
- At least 2 years of experience using web-based software

**Location**
- London, Canada and remote with Boston Team_
