As an Employee Data Management (EDM) Analyst you are expected to be self-motivated (with a very supportive team) and work autonomously, while aligning with overall business goals. Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate with team members is essential. You will have robust knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products, with a specific focus on Excel. You can put your problem-solving skills to the test interpreting and auditing data, discovering inconsistencies, and collaborating with team members across HR to implement resolutions.

Being analytical with strong organizational and time-management skills to be able to manage demanding and competing priorities will be key in your success.

What you will be doing:

- Responsible for quality assurance, maintenance and data cleaning related to Oracle HCM.
- Understand employee data and impact of data change on end-to-end of employee HR information including but not limited to payroll, benefits and Union collective agreements.
- Process changes that are requested by your clientele
- Manage, and audit requested by HRBPs
- Audit data to ensure accurate system function as designed
- Able to work with IT to troubleshoot data issues
- Adhere to team SLAs

What you have:

- Minimum 1 year of experience in HR or as a business or Financial Analyst with an interest in growing, understanding, analyzing and supporting our employees, managers and HRBPs data change needs
- Strong numeric, data manipulation, spreadsheet and analytical skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel with proven ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, and v
- lookups
- Experience compiling complex data and creating accurate results is an asset
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders and work effectively and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Strong service orientation and demonstrates flexibility and adaptability to create solutions and improve our processes
- Able to work independently and proactively and can manage priorities to meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality with respect to employee personal and work-related information
- Experience with software as a service (SaaS) Human Resource (HRIS) software. Oracle HCM is preferred.
- Prior experience with a ticketing system which includes workflow approvals, ability to track, follow-up, close tickets and assist with escalations within the teams designated SLA timelines. ServiceNow HR module is preferred.
