The Marriott on the Falls also offers sumptuous dining options at its on-site Milestones Fallsview Restaurant along with 23 private function rooms and boardrooms totaling over 40,000 square feet of meeting space including our 8400 sq. ft. Oakes Grand Ballroom with an additional 2700 sq. ft. foyer. - Lead Hand/Trainer who is positive, enthusiastic and will be a role model of the Starbucks operations standards that defines a Starbucks Guest Experience. The Starbucks-Shift Leader/Trainer will focus on the guest experience and quality guest service with the Starbucks team. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Provides hands on leadership and training by certifying all newly hired Starbucks Associates through the Certification process.
- Assists the Food and Beverage Manager in hiring, training, scheduling, motivating and coaching Starbucks employees.
- Follows the Company’s operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling.
- Follow all Company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to Management.
- Organizes opening and closing duties, including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas.
- Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are clean and professional.
- Provide quality beverages, such as macchiato, cappuccino, lattés, coffee, and other food and beverage products consistently for all customers by adhering to all Starbucks recipe and presentation standard and enter in Micros system.
- Delivering service to all customers by creating a personal connection with the customer.
- Maintain customer service area and equipment in a clean and appealing manner; follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
- Order and set up, stock items on shelves and maintain work area clean.
- Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with the duty checklists and cleaning standards.
- All others duties as assigned.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Great conversational skills and teamwork-oriented individual.
- Positive and outgoing personality who has the ability to build relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professional composure at all times, regardless of issue, while performing multiple tasks with multiple guests/items/products.
- Previous equivalent Shift Leader/Trainer experience preferred.
- Ability to direct the work of others.
- Hands on experience with brewing equipment.
- Great attention to details.
- Effective oral and written communication.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills as well as the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality. Flexibility to work various shifts.

High school diploma; relevant training is a plus.
