Yard Labourer/Equipment Operator (Seasonal - Potential Permanent)

TMH Industries is a rapidly growing landscape and construction supply company seeking a highly motivated and dependable Yard Labourer/Equipment Operator to join our team.

**About the Role**:
This position plays a vital role in supporting our daily operations. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks within our yard and shop environment, ensuring efficient customer service and smooth operational flow.

**Responsibilities**:

- Load customer vehicles with materials safely and efficiently
- Answer customer questions about products and services
- Operate various equipment (forklifts, skid steers, bobcats) to load and unload trucks, move materials around the yard, and mix materials (experience may be an asset or training provided)
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment
- Unload incoming deliveries of materials and ensure proper storage
- Conduct daily inventory checks and report any discrepancies
- Assist with maintaining and cleaning equipment
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures when operating equipment and working in the yard
- Perform basic equipment maintenance checks before and after use
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to a supervisor
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents
- Assist with minor repairs and maintenance projects around the yard
- Maintain communication with sales staff regarding customer inquiries and product availability

- Prior experience operating equipment is a strong asset.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual labor tasks.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates initiative.

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
