The Sudbury Trail Plan is dedicated to providing strong leadership and support to member clubs in establishing and maintaining safe, environmentally responsible, quality snowmobile trails throughout Sudbury, Espanola and Manitoulin.

The Sudbury Trail Plan is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to fill the role of District Manager.

The Sudbury Trail Plan is a volunteer-led not for profit organization which aims to provide strong leadership and support to member clubs in establishing and maintaining safe, environmentally responsible snowmobile trails in the Sudbury / Manitoulin area. With 10 member clubs and 1800 kilometers of trails, you will have an opportunity to work with a large group of dedicated volunteers.

The District Manager is primarily tasked with ensuring the maintenance and safe operation of the district grooming fleet and managing a team of seasonal employees within a budget as approved by the Board of Directors. The District Manager is also responsible for the development, implementation and communication of programs that will support district and volunteer members in their goal of delivering quality trails. The District Manager will support the communication and delivery of strategies while liaising with Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs staff.

- Ability to work within restricted timelines and budgets that can vary from season to season and within season
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours, especially within the grooming season
- Willingness to travel within and outside the district on business
- General knowledge of organized snowmobiling and the OFSC trail system

Compensation:
The District Manager will receive an annual salary consistent with the individual’s experience and skills
within the range established corporately.
