Reporting to management or designate.

Primary function is proving a safe and clean environment for seniors and staff of the Carriage House.

**MUST HAVE**:
Current police check for vulnerable sector required.

Seeking a mature friendly, polite, and respectful individual able to interact with seniors and staff while working in a cooperative manner as well as using initiative.

Confidentiality of resident information.
- Physical requirements may include: stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, ladders, being comfortable with heights.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads above 75 lbs
- Be able to perform overall maintenance: plumbing, electrical, replacing valves, toilets, clearing drains, fixtures in the building.
- Repair equipment such as drive-belts, lubricating motors, hinges, heating and ventilation, kitchen and laundry equipment, AC installation, HVAC equipment.
- Receive and restock chemicals, tools and spare parts.
- Understanding the use all chemicals used in the building.
- General carpentry skills; installing floors, wall, tiles, repairing drywall, mud, taping, replacing doors, hardware, painting and wallpapering.
- Understanding of generator system, boiler and hot water tanks and all areas of the basement.
- Operation of cable, phone, nurse emergency call bell, pendant systems.
- Knowledgeable in all fire alarm panels, complete all mandatory inspections and daily walk through
- Ensure that all required areas are stocked and ready for next shift.
- External building maintenance doing gardening, heavy removal of weeds, debris, trimming tree branches.
- Able to change all building lights inside and outside.
