We are seeking a **Precision Consultant - Digital Specialist**. This position is part of our Precision Team of experts who are focused on enabling new precision technologies across the organization. Your focus will be on enabling digital tools, such as precision software and apps, used for data analysis and in-field use. In season you will be in-field to help deliver new technology to customers. Throughout the year you will help with training, both internally and externally on how to utilize and make decisions from their data so they can achieve their goals recognize a return on investment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Helps promote and support customers capturing field data to enable them to make informed decisions using the data captured.
- Leverage John Deere Operations Center and connected apps to review and edit customer data.
- Develop and execute precision support packages that help customers achieve their goals for the growing season.
- May work with customers on executing field trials assist in analyzing results from field data.
- Supports customers as needed to work with third party consultants that assist them in agronomic decision making.
- Provide sales and support for John Deere’s precision technology offerings.
- Assist customers with data file management, including prescription files, set-up files, sharing with third party advisors, etc.
- Help prepare and deliver training to both internal employees and customers on current and newly launched Precision Technology software and equipment.
- Help develop and execute customer training and clinic materials across all product lines.
- Acts as a liaison with other trusted advisors such as Ag service providers, agronomists, etc.
- Helps manage terminal transfer, machine connectivity, subscriptions, renewals, and upgrades to ensure they remain up to date for all customers and maintain a connected fleet.
- Abide by company data privacy policies.
- Attends precision ag related events to remain current on industry trends.

**Qualifications**:

- Detail oriented and analytical.
- Ability to think strategically and demonstrates entrepreneurial skills.
- Demonstrates an analytical mindset when tackling new/unknown technologies.
- Has a great understanding the agriculture industry.
- Post Secondary education in Agriculture is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet customer needs, especially during peak seasons.
- Ability to operate with a solutions approach and identify existing/emerging customer needs.
- Demonstrates the ability to learn new software and computer programs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
