Located in Port Kells (Surrey), British Columbia, Can West Machinery offers 4000 square feet of available production space. Facilities are equipped with horizontal boring mills, vertical boring mills, lathes, milling machines, cranes, CNC machine center, CNC lathe, as well as MIG and TIG welding equipment and fabricating.

Can West Machinery has been providing high quality, skilled, experienced, and reliable service in precision machining, fabrication and welding since 1983.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operation of manual lathes, milling machines, and vertical boring mills
- Machining parts for jobbing, products and repair work for new machinery and/or refurbishment of existing machinery
- Finished part inspection to ensure sizing
- Use of overhead cranes and forklifts for loading and unloading
- Routine machine maintenance
- Maintain work area cleanliness and organization
- Those with CNC skills in operating CNC machining centers and CNC lathes - would be considered an asset, though not required

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years experience as a manual machinist
- Experienced on manual lathes, milling machines and vertical boring mills
- Those with Horizonal Boring Mill experience would be considered an asset

**Salary**: $30.00-$42.00 per hour
