**SUMMARY**

The Pipefitter is involved in prepping/connecting pipes. This work may exist outdoors and is typically physically demanding. Looking for Apprentices and Journeyman.

**Start: October 16, 2023**

**Location**: Acheson Fabrication Yard

**Shift**:

- dayshift 6am to 4:30pm, Mon
- Thurs.

**Rate**: $32.81- $53.15 (Inclusive of employer contributions for vacation/statutory, health and welfare, RSP, RSP matching, and education and training)

Outdoor Premium $3.00/hour for trades working outdoors at least 60% of their working day.

**JOB DUTIES**
- Comply with Company and Client Safety rules, as well as OH&S standards
- Connect pipe utilizing 7018 electrode (bridge tacking)
- May cut pipe using Oxy-Acetylene torch
- Prep pipe using grinder
- Attend required safety and tailgate/toolbox meetings
- May perform other duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Must be an Alberta registered apprentice or ticketed journeyman (or hold an apprenticeship or journeyman certificate recognized by AIT)
- CSTS-09 or CSTS-20
- Able to work well in a team environment
- Able to work outdoors
- Organized and self-motivated
