**Join Avant Education as an English Tutor**

Are you passionate about education? Avant Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced English tutor to help high school students excel in conversational English, speech development, and comprehension skills. This role also involves providing tutoring support for high school students, assisting with schoolwork as needed.

**What We Offer**:

- A pay range of $25-$28 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
- Flexible hours, with a workload of 15-20 hours per week.
- A supportive and engaging work environment focused on student success.
- In-person tutoring opportunities in the Richmond area, with health and safety precautions in place.

**Responsibilities**:

- Teach conversational English and speech skills to help students improve their confidence and communication.
- Develop personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s unique needs and goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods to ensure continuous improvement.
- Encourage a positive and motivating learning environment that fosters growth and achievement.

**Preferred Availability**:

- Weekdays after 2 PM.
- Weekends during the day.

**Eligibility Criteria**:

- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring English, particularly in conversation, speech, and comprehension.
- Strong ability to work with high school students and assist them in their academic needs.
- A Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education, patience, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to various learning styles.
- Reliable transportation to work in-person in the Richmond area.
- Availability to commit to a consistent schedule within the outlined hours.
