Diagnostic Imaging Aide

KDH is seeking a Diagnostic Imaging Aide to join the team on a permanent part-time basis.

In addition to the Hospital’s requirements for commitment to the Mission and Philosophy of Care the following are requirements for this position:
**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent;
- Basic E.C.G. course or comparable training;
- Current CPR certificate;
- Previous experience working in Diagnostic Imaging and the Ontario Breast Screening Program an asset;
- Patient registration experience an asset;
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication, interpersonal and public relations and problem-solving skills;
- Proficient computer skills;
- Previous experience with Electronic Medical Records, EPIC an asset;
- Familiarity with using PACS an asset;
- Ability to set priorities and organize work accordingly in a busy office setting with multiple professionals;
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.

**Starting Wage**:
**$24.43/hr**

**Please note**: In order to work in a healthcare facility, _the Public Hospitals Act 1990_, _Regulation 965_ requires all employees to provide proof of up-to-date immunization/vaccines for the following diseases: Tuberculin Skin Testing (TB), Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria (DTap), Influenza (during flu season) and three COVID shots. This proof must be provided to our Occupational Health Office in order to be cleared to work.
