Hydrovac Swamper

**PGC Services Inc. **has enjoyed rapid growth and success in the Ontario Hydrovac Excavation and Sewer Flushing services and rental market. This fast-paced operation within the Powell Group is looking to add **Hydrovac Helpers **in Aurora, ON.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for the successful completion of hydro excavation projects including: utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching and digging, excavation of sensitive underground piping and cables
- Responsible for the successful completion of flushing service projects including: sewer lines, storm sewers, coverts, catch basins
- Operate Hydro-Vac combo flushing trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner
- Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures for Hydro-Vac operation
- Ensure all Hydro-Vac truck equipment and components are in good working condition at all times
- Perform pre and post trip inspections, follow company policies and procedures for routine maintenance, perform general housekeeping to ensure units are operating properly
- Report any deficiencies to the manager
- Maintain and use appropriate personal protective equipment
- Must be able to work in a confined space; walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**:

- 1-3 years experience with Hydro Vac Excavation Machines an asset
- Experience working in the construction industry
- Must be hardworking, reliable and resourceful etc.
- Show eagerness and highly motivated
- Experience in flushing services
- Willing to learn new things
