**The role in a nutshell**

Ready for your next step? In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as an integral member of the Glencore’s Global Coupa Supply Team. You will be responsible for ongoing development, maintenance and troubleshooting of the integration between the Middleware (Dell Boomi / PunchOut2Go), Coupa and the various ERP’s deployed by the business. The Middleware Lead will oversee and maintain the regular deployment of middleware upgrades and the coordination with the various ERP teams with regards to ERP patching and updating. The Middleware Lead will also be responsible for the technical planning, management, and deployment of regular system changes in accordance with the Coupa quarterly release cycle in collaboration with the Coupa Regional Business Analysts.

The Global Lead will also oversee and provide support and leadership to two regional middleware specialists situated in opposing time zones to ensure a 24-hour, 5 day per week active monitoring schedule. Of key importance is to ensure a high standard of governance amongst the various team members. A global ticket queue will be utilized to convey and prioritize the activities of the team.

**More specifically, you will**:

- Provide 2nd level proactive and reactive service and performance management for mission critical systems. Identify requirements for real-time alerts to notify support groups of a current or potential performance problem
- Respond to real-time performance alerts to resolve performance problems, perform regular on-going review and analysis of performance data to identify current performance problems and proactively detect potential future performance problems
- Follow change management standards and procedures
- Develop Help Desk procedures, test scripts
- Facilitate disaster recovery planning for solution
- Develop and continuously update detailed technical design documentation

- Administration of deployed processes, atoms, and molecules
- Monitor process logs for master data and transactional processes in Dell Boomi
- Alert the business of any outages or disruptions and keep informed until resolved
- Liaise with Coupa support team on integration
- Troubleshoot process errors in the middleware
- Tweak processes as necessary
- Deploy changes to processes
- Escalate functional errors to functional support resources
- Data stewardship and maintenance of golden records in Master Data Management
- Troubleshoot Master Data Management data errors
- Perform data maintenance for non-integrated master data
- Analyze and maintain data alignment between Coupa, the middleware, TradeCentric (PunchOut2Go) and the ERP’s
- Proactively plan and oversee the technical deployment of new Boomi functionality monthly across the 3 tier environment

- Troubleshoot punch out errors between ERPs and Coupa
- Liaise with the various teams on data feed integration failures

- Proactively monitor and manage the Middleware configuration changes resulting from Coupa development requirements for Glencore
- In conjunction with the Coupa Regional Business Analysts identify, assess, document and develop new business requirements that will result in changes to the current Middleware deployment in Glencore
- In conjunction with the Coupa Global Process Owner proactively plan and ensure the technical deployment of new Coupa functionality released in the quarterly Coupa release cycles across the 3 tier environment
- Maintain the Middleware technical design documentation in line with all changes to the system design
- Design, develop and present middleware prototypes to Coupa Governance Forum and achieve approval for any changes to existing functional/technical design in conjunction with the Coupa Global Process Owner.
- Ensure compliance with best practice
- Continuously monitor Coupa technical performance
- Implement recommended changes as per performance audit(s)
- Ensure scalability of the environment in advance of new projects in coordination with the Global Infrastructure Team
- Assist in the creation and effective execution of testing scenarios that ensure the information and data flows according to the information architecture design
- Work with business partners and technology teams to define the organisation, storage and flow of data to support effective service delivery to business consumers
