**Key responsibilities of a THP Pharmacy Assistant include**:
- Data entry of patient care information in Kroll
- Accurate filling of prescription medications
- Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems,
- General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required and necessary
- Handling customer prescription pick up, assisting with cashier responsibilities as required in the Pharmacy
- Operating Synmed and/or PacMed machine for blister packs and strip packs, respectively
- Operating ScriptPro machine for automated vial packaging machine
- Assisting patients with Home Health Care products and devices
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1-year experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is required.
- Minimum 1-year experience using Kroll software.
- Excellent organizational skills and prioritization
- Focus on accuracy and detail orientation
- Strong communication skills
- Demonstrated customer service experience
- Proficient computer/data/entry skills
- Proficiency in operating Synmed /PacMed /ScriptPro machines is an asset (but not required). Training will be provided.
