**Summary**:
As the Manager of Legal Operations, you will have accountability for managing key systems and processes to the Legal Department relating to budget, workflows, and technology of the Legal Department. You will be a proven leader who fosters a culture that values excellence, innovation, teamwork, and respect.

**Typical Accountabilities**:

- Own the strategy and execution of the Legal Department’s matter management platform and ebilling system and administrative workflows of the Legal Department
- Help to develop and monitor the legal budget, track spending, and find opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Collaborate with others across Legal and Legal Ops, Finance, Procurement, IT and Global Business Services.
- Serve as the system owner for the matter management/ebilling system and will upskill the department on matter management and spend management practices.
- Be a part of law firm selection, firm management, and strategy
- Work across all functions of the Legal Department and the Legal Operations team to consistently drive process improvement, developing and driving execution of best practices.

**Essential Skills/Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years or more of legal billing experience
- Strong financial and technical competence
- Familiarity with CounselLink, LegalTracker, or similar Legal ebilling platforms
- Strategic thinking and ability to identify and seek to implement continuous improvements to the systems and processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal/collaboration skills
- Ability to multitask
- Analytical problem solving and decision-making skills
- Time and project management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Resilient and able to adapt to changing environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High ethical standards and ability to maintain confidential information

**Preferred Skills/Experience**:

- MBA, accounting, or technology degree or equivalent work experience
- Familiarity with SAP
- Experience with artificial intelligence
- Experience with iManage or other document management systems
