**Salaried and Hourly Recruitment**
- Review business workforce plans to understand hiring needs and work with hiring managers to initiate the recruitment process
- Build and maintain a network of contacts to ensure a pipeline of talent is readily available to meet business needs
- Assist with the organization, planning and execution of career awareness events including co-op recruiting, career fairs, and post-secondary partnerships
- Evaluate applicants using a variety of screening and assessment tools to identify qualified applicants
- Arrange interviews and testing as required, update applicant records, and ensure the applicant tracking system is always up to date
- Work closely with hiring managers and HR partners to determine the “right fit” and make hiring recommendations

**Student Recruitment**
- Work with post-secondary institutions to fill co-op, summer, and intern positions
- Develop a robust student onboarding plan and check in process to monitor student progress
- Work with managers and HR to evaluate students for potential conversion opportunities

**Continuous Improvement**
- Participate in business improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our recruitment processes
- Compile recruitment data (eg. time to fill), identify emerging recruitment trends, and prepare reports, as required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
- 3-5 years related experience in Human Resources and/or recruitment
- Experience sourcing top talent using various recruitment channels including social media, resume mining, and networking
- Experience with HRIS systems; Oracle HCM and Taleo preferred
- Knowledge of and experience with recruitment would be considered a strong asset
- Knowledge of sales skills and the ability/willingness to persuade others is a must
- Process thinking and the ability/experience to independently lead projects would be a strong asset
- Customer focused individual with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Energetic self-starter who enjoys working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to travel occasionally
