**Responsibilities**

We are looking for a talented and ambitious BIM Technician to work on innovative and award-winning projects as part of our team. This position is responsible for the preparation of structural engineering drawings and models, managing technician budgets and deliverables on small/medium projects. This role reports directly to the BIM Manager. Please note this is a hybrid role working both on-site in our Vancouver office and remotely.

**Duties**
- Provide technician resources as required for project modeling/detailing at the direction of the project Senior BIM Coordinator and BIM Coordinator.
- Update drawings according to mark-ups, sketches, and specifications provided.
- Check drawings for conformance to Fast + Epp standards and best practices.
- Communicate regularly with Project Managers for deliverables, expectations, and coordination of items
- Communicate as needed with architect and other consultants to coordinate models and resolve issues
- Oversee construction administration drafting of a project as required.

What you bring to the table:

- 3 years minimum of structural technician experience on buildings/facilities.
- Certificate/diploma in Civil/Structural drafting or a related field with relevant work experience.
- Education in BIM Management is preferred
- Proficient with Revit, BIM360/Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Experience with dynamo, grasshopper, rhino, and other programming languages is preferred
- Ability to read and understand architectural and structural engineering drawings.
- Be able to produce accurate and detailed drawings, demonstrate exceptional organization skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Quality written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate within the team and with external teams or clients
- Ability to work in an environment driven by project deadlines
- Highly motivated with attention to detail
