We're hiring an experienced Case Worker to support young people as they exit homelessness. With a strengths-based approach, you will identify and meet the complex needs of marginalized young people and empower them to find stability and self-efficacy. You'll provide flexible, unconditional support and build relationships founded on trust, empathy, and advocacy.

The number one role of a Zero Ceiling Youth Case Worker is to foster a therapeutic relationship with ZC program participants, characterized by empathy, trust, support, advocacy, reciprocation, and fun. With relationship as the foundation, ZC staff adopt a strength based individualized approach to support. We empower our participants to have agency in their lives.

**Experience**:

- Develop relationships of mutual trust and respect with participants
- Provide case management for W2L participants in weekly meetings
- Provide advocacy for participants in areas including, but not limited to; employment, medical, mental health, conflict with landlords, family justice, government agencies, RCMP/law.
- Provide in-house support, including cleaning, chores, conflict resolution, etc.
- Post-secondary education in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or related field
- **Experience**:A minimum of 2 years of experience working in social services or relevant lived experience.
- **Requirements**:Clean criminal record check (incl. vulnerable sector), class 5 driver license, clean driving abstract, commercial car insurance
- **Salary**: $26/hour starting wage
- **Hours**: Full-time (36hrs) - Sunday-Wednesday plus one Thursday extra per month
- **Benefits (after probation period)**: Extended health, RRSP matching, ten personal days, three weeks paid vacation

COVID-19 considerations:
We have a robust COVID-19 safety plan in place to keep staff safe while providing support to youth. We require our staff to be double-vaccinated, wear masks in common spaces, and practice physical distancing. We also offer 10 paid days' sick leave.

- Whistler, BC V8E 0A2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
