Stage Sound and Light Technician

Richmond Night Market is looking for a stage technician responsible for looking after our stage and music system from End of April-Oct, 2024 every weekend from Friday to Sunday and long weekend Monday (Night time shifts).

Main duties of the Stage Manager will be:

- Responsible for organizing our performance schedule and contacting performers
- Responsible for looking after all equipment and props
- Assist with all technical support to the stage sound and lighting systems
- Setup all rehearsal spaces with proper rehearsal set and prop pieces
- Ensuring all performances run smoothly and on time
- Monitoring the stage

Qualifications:

- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Able to work weekend nights
- Experienced in stage management
- Similar experience in previous job area(s) is an asset

**Job Types**: Temporary, Contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Holidays
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- stage sound control: 1 year (preferred)
- stage light control: 1 year (preferred)
