Location: City of Temiskaming Shores
- The City of Temiskaming Shores is a single-tier municipality and an economic and service hub in Northeastern Ontario. Centrally located between North Bay, Sudbury, Timmins and Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec.
Situated on beautiful Lake Temiskaming, the City of Temiskaming Shores is an ideal location for boating, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling, golfing and numerous other recreational amenities which make our community an exceptional place to both live and work.
Directly accountable to Council, the City Manager will be a proven leader with a demonstrated ability to embrace change and guide the municipality.
The City Manager supports the Mayor and Council, in directing and developing public policy, ensuring that Council has timely, and relevant information to make well-informed decisions. The position also oversees the coordination of the day-to-day administration of the City, through its senior management team.
The City of Temiskaming Shores is a vibrant community that is seeking a leader who can work with Council and a dynamic senior management team to further position the municipality for a successful future.

**Qualifications**
- University Degree in a related discipline or equivalent with an ongoing demonstrated commitment to professional development.
- Relevant experience as a senior executive in a related public sector environment with a successful record of collaborating with elected officials, boards and management of municipal government affairs and administration.
- AMCTO, CMO, CMM or other relevant municipal professional designation desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of government affairs, municipal operations and administration, including finance, legislative services, human resources and legal affairs.
- Strong working knowledge of municipal legislation, statutes and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain productive, collaborative relationships working with elected officials or boards, community partners, government agencies and manage the complexities of a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to work co-operatively, in a team approach with others to produce innovative solutions.
- Computer proficiency, attention to detail and strong organization and communication skills with a commitment to public service excellence.

**Comments**

Compensation: $140,183 - $156,766 (35 hours per week, plus a comprehensive benefits package) The job profile is currently under review.
