Instrumentation Technician

Qualifications:

- Instrumentation Journeyperson Certification
- Preference for dual certification
- Instrumentation and Electrical
- Must be willing to learn and perform operational duties

**Experience**:

- 5-7 years of related experience with a strong instrumentation background

**Skills**:

- Strong troubleshooting capabilities
- Excellent teamwork with strong communication skills
- Computer competency with knowledge in MS Office products

Key Activities and Responsibilities:

- Conduct regular site inspections at La Corey South Station, Foster Junction, Foster F-H, Foster A-E, Maskwa, Lemming, Wolf Lake, Orion, Ardmore Junction, Husky, Husky Tie-in, La Corey Pipeline Terminal, including all MLV’s on the CLX, CLPL, and Polaris pipeline systems to ensure EH&S, asset reliability and general housekeeping is maintained to the highest standard.
- Conduct repairs to station equipment
- Conduct monthly meter proving activities on CLX/CLPL/Polaris sites.
- Respond to PLM and emergency conditions within the district as required.
- Provide support to operations engineering and Project Development on assigned projects within the district.
- Routine operation and maintenance pigging support for CLX/CLPL/Polaris Pipelines.
- Provide support to Leak Detection and Measurement Group trouble shooting measurement issues and anomalies impacting the district.
- Work with Planning/Scheduling and Senior E/I Technician in planning day to day and weekly work activities.
