We are looking for an excellent, bilingual communicator and effective team player who can work collaboratively to deliver dynamic and engaging programs, managing associated project deadlines, resolving issues that may arise, ensuring satisfaction with stakeholders and reporting on Network-wide impact, participant engagement and satisfaction.
The duties will range from being a team leader, a supervisor, and a co-worker, all at the same time. The project manager will lead the team, communicate with the stakeholders, define project goals, and see the projects through to closure.
Your main objectives will be to:
- Manage and support the development, implementation, and evaluation of three major pan-Canadian projects in collaboration with CPF National and Branch staff:
- Early Years FSL ECE Training Portal and Parent Support Hub
- FSL Teacher Retention and Attrition Campaign
- _Concours d’art oratoire_ - National Finals Coordination
- Act as the key point of contact for program communication, building relationships with new partners and with key stakeholders to support participation and drive awareness about the programs being offered.
- Provide oversight and coaching to ensure all programs, activities and resources adhere to the CPF brand and quality standard.
- Contribute to the conception, creation and development of new communication tools including promotional videos, public awareness campaigns, newsletter, website and social media content that support CPF’s Network programs and strategic objectives.
- Create an evaluation strategy and generate quarterly program impact reports, using appropriate software, tools and resources, analyzing metrics and insights from end-user and stakeholder feedback.
EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Full time employment contract position (37.5) until March 31, 2024 with renewal on a yearly basis, dependent on confirmed funding.
- Hybrid Work Model - The CPF Network office follows a hybrid working model which allows local employees to telework up to 50 percent of the time, balanced over a two-week period.
QUALIFICATIONS - Knowledge / Experience / Key Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English. Intermediate level bilingualism (or higher) is essential.
- Certificate in project management and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 2 to 5 years’ work experience in a project management position in the areas of educational program development, program evaluation techniques, training delivery, instructional design, particularly as it relates to French Second Language education or programs.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, able to take initiative, manage deadlines and work well independently and within a team; experience connecting with stakeholder groups, and ability to build rapport and credibility with staff and volunteers,
ADDITIONAL CRITERIA
- Able to work evenings and weekends as required. The position will require occasional travel.
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector, member or volunteer-driven organizations is considered an asset.
- Supports promoting learning of both official languages and a bilingual Canada.
