**Job Summary**:
We are seeking qualified, dedicated and caring Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our home care team. In this role, you will assist clients with daily living activities in their homes, fostering a safe and nurturing environment. If you are not a qualified PSW, ask for training or see our Non-Medical Home Care Worker position.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety.
- Assist with meal preparation, nutrition planning, and feeding when necessary.
- Offer companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities and conversations.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry, cleaning, and organizing, to maintain a safe living environment.
- Monitor clients' health and well-being, documenting any changes and reporting to supervisors.
- Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with family members and healthcare professionals.
- Respect clients’ privacy and dignity at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; Personal Support Worker certification (from a Canadian education institute).
- Prior experience in home care or caregiving is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- CPR and First Aid certification (required before placement).
- Vulnerable Sector Police Clearance (required before placement).
- Medical Certificate (to show ability to work required before placement).

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
- Capability to perform physical tasks related to caregiving.

**Work Environment**:

- This position primarily involves working in clients' home or when required at a care facility, requiring flexibility in work hours, including morning, evenings and weekends.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
