Contrans Tank Group, as part of TFI, the largest transportation company in North America, has an opening for the role of a Driver Trainer located in Woodstock, ON. The Driver Trainer plays a very important role on the overall success of operations and is viewed in the highest regard. It is imperative the Driver Trainer has knowledge and experience on how to manage drivers and deal with the day-to-day tasks at hand. We are looking for a quick, bright, eager individual wanting to grow within our organization where the sky is the limit for your career ambitions.

**Specific Duties**
- Communicate well and educate Drivers on defensive driving and overall, Health & Safety.
- Hands on Driver training and product handling.
- Facilitate Driver orientation and training.
- Be an active participant in the Company’s accident prevention committee.
- Represent the Company at various Customers to ensure site specific policies/procedures are adhered to.
- Spill response and customer / driver yard review.
- Utilize technology to monitor driving habits and coach continual improvement.
- Collaborate with Management on best practices regarding training and safety.
- Adhere to Contrans Tank Group safety policy by working in a safe and professional manner.
- Other duties as required.

**Education/Experience**
- Post-secondary education in business or logistics
- 3-5 years’ experience
- AZ license
- Ability to travel locally to assist other terminals with training needs
- Ability to conduct road tests and understand safety & training needs for the Trucking industry
- Ability to utilize a variety of software platforms
