Childcare Supervisor

Markham, Canada iKids Montessori Academy Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure the centre runs smoothly and efficiently on daily operation.
- Responsible for student enrollments and parent enquiries.
- Ensure all new parents and children are orientated into the centre upon registration.
- Supervise the implementation and maintenance of high quality childcare services in compliance with the CCEYA standards.
- Oversees the physical environment and ensure its maintained to meet all legislations including regional public health, ministry of education, and fire department.
- Responsible for new hires and schedule shifts for current employees.
- Ensure effective communication and program collaboration between staffs and parents.

**Requirements**:

- Must be a registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) in good standing.
- Minimum 2 - 3 years of management experience in childcare settings.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Montessori teaching method.
- Strong knowledge of licensing and accreditation regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively with respect to families and staff members.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.
- Mandarin and Cantonese language is an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $50,000.00 per year
