**Overview**:Are you passionate about working with children and seeking a flexible, rewarding part-time role? Join our family as a part-time nanny/mother’s helper and play a vital role in fostering our 2-year-old son's growth and development while enjoying a supportive work environment.

**Schedule**: 2-3 weekdays between 10am and 3pm (3-4 hour blocks per day, days of the week flexible)

**Duration**: This is a part-time seasonal position from June 17 through to September (Labour Day), with the potential for extension or renewal for the following summer. There may also be opportunities to transition into an occasional childcare arrangement beyond the seasonal period, based on mutual agreement and availability.

**Description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Engage in stimulating and age-appropriate activities with our son, fostering his development and creativity (all resource materials, craft supplies will be provided)
- Supervise playtime, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment at all times.
- Assist with childcare related duties such as tidying up toys and meal/snack preparation for our son.
- Take our son on outdoor walks or to nearby playgrounds, weather permitting.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working with toddlers or young children preferred.
- Must be patient, compassionate, and attentive to the needs of our son.
- Comfortable with dogs and cats, and willing to assist with pet care tasks as needed.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
- Non-smoker preferred.

**Compensation**:

- Paid hourly rate.
