**Summary**
This is a key customer focused position supporting students and staff working at the OCDSB, while following established business processes and adhering to Board policies.
- Completion of 2 or 3 year Computer Systems Technician program, and a minimum of 2 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Completion of Apple Certified Mac Technician (ACMT) or Apple Certified iOS Technician (ACiT); MCSE (Microsoft Certified Support Engineer), A Plus Industry Standard technical expertise and other relevant designations.
- Customer-focused individual who demonstrates excellent customer service skills.
- Knowledge and experience with interactive and mobile technologies.
- Works comfortably variety of hardware and operating systems.
**Related Skills and Abilities**:
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) for instructing users; ability to clarify and provide information, address problems in a professional manner, and respond to requests and inquiries, using tact and diplomacy.
- Analytical skills are required for resolving problems.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment such as computers, monitors and peripherals (use of step ladders for installation of projectors).
- Ability to organize and manage time and work effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to use judgment when troubleshooting, determining corrective action, and/or when installing hardware.
- Ability to work independently or collaboratively with other Bstaff; and can quickly learn new technology independently, without formal instruction.
**Salary**: $43,749.00-$55,890.00 per year
