We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our Corporate Accounting team, to play a key role in our project operations teams; including establishing, maintaining, and monitoring all project contract files.

What you’ll get to do
Verify the accuracy of supplier invoices by confirming receipt of goods and matching invoices to purchase orders and packaging slips
Manage invoice posting through supplier invoice scanning software and troubleshoot as required
Ensure all applicable discounts are noted and recorded on the appropriate supplier invoices
Match freight bills owing with goods received and approve them for payment
Interact with suppliers and co-workers on matters related to invoice adjustments, approvals, and payments
Maintain and manage monthly intercompany payable reconciliations
Review general accrual account for aging of receipts recorded without matching invoice
Set up new vendors in the computer systems as required
Maintain payable files and code payables for posting
Assume other accounting duties as assigned by the senior accounting team
What you bring
A post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Administration, or other similar fields of study
Previous accounting experience, including co-op or summer placements, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks, and demonstrating attention to detail while adhering to tight deadlines
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with high credibility at all levels of the organization
Ability to work well under pressure
