General Labourer

Consolidated Industrial Products is seeking a General Labourer who reports directly to the Shop Supervisor. They are responsible for performing various duties in shop, task prioritization skills, perform preventative and scheduled maintenance activities, materials handling and product assemblies.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follows and complies with all government legislation and company policies & procedures.
- Participates in all pre-job hazard assessments and inspections prior to commencing any job.
- Ensures proper load securement of any hoses, chemical pails or other products/equipment.
- Safely operate equipment in municipal and industrial settings.
- Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery and equipment.
- Assist in maintaining shop and maintenance records.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Ontario driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract.
- Must be able to pass all required training, background check, and drug & alcohol testing.
- Safety-focused attitude with experience working in an industrial setting.
- Sound problem solving and troubleshooting capability.
- Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
- Forklift or Loader Operator Certification and asset.
- Powered hand tools and Pneumatic tool operation and maintenance.
- WHMIS and Worker Safety Awareness an asset.
- Some experience with industrial trades/supplies would be an asset.
- Basic Computer Skills.

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Azilda, ON P0M 1B0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- warehouse: 1 year (preferred)
