**Job Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while preparing and serving a variety of deli products. You will play a key role in maintaining food safety standards, ensuring a clean work environment, and contributing to the overall success of the deli department.

**Responsibilities**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders, providing knowledgeable recommendations on deli products.
- Prepare and serve high-quality deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, soups and sandwiches, while adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli area, including equipment and display cases.
- Prep work, and preparing our gran and go fridge, and stock our bakery section for retail.
- Follow all food safety protocols to ensure the quality and safety of food products served.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
- Read and prepare catering orders on time and pack for delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service and helping others.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 20 per week
