We are looking to hire an experienced full-time **IT Support & Field Services Agent **for our Brampton, Ontario terminal. The IT Support & Field Services Agent is responsible for coordinating day-to-day IT operations, to make certain of a best practices approach. _NB: This role embodies an exceptional career opportunity for a person familiar with a variety of transportation software, general IT support, and Microsoft Office._
- **Duties & Responsibilities**_
- Anticipate needs of users and provide users with appropriate support and advice.
- Bring major information technology issues to management, including policy proposals, new initiatives, strategic plans.
- Maintain system infrastructure, including servers and software environments
- Ensure back-up systems operate effectively.
- Evaluate system for functionality and efficiency.
- Ensuring the security of data from internal and external attack.
- All other duties as assigned by Management.
- **Qualifications**_
- Minimum 2 years IT experience - troubleshooting problems, cyber security, etc.
- Degree, Diploma, or equivalent verifiable working experience.
- Previous experience within the Warehouse/Transportation/Logistics Industry considered an asset.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Proven problem-solving skills and a demonstrated ability to achieve operational goals.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle several complex tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to take ownership of issues and problem analysis, decision making and resolution.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and courteously with other staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $28.85 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
