**Position Responsibilities**
- The School of Trades and Technologies is looking for a Carpentry Instructor - Sessional Faculty Member to teach and develop curriculum in the Carpenter Apprenticeship program.
- Job duties will include:
- Maintain, develop and instruct the theory and shop components of the Alberta Carpentry Apprenticeship program
- Ongoing planning and curriculum review
- Participate in school, program, and other polytechnic service committees
- Program promotion and student recruitment

- Alberta Journeyman Certificate in Carpentry
- Inter-provincial Red Seal Certificate
- Minimum 5 years post-Journeyman work experience
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Aptitude for mentoring and coaching others

**Preferred Qualifications**- Experience teaching post-secondary learners through both in-person and online formats
- Journeyman certification in one or more additional related trades
