**Job Summary**

We are looking for two buyers to join our supply chain team to support the department temporarily. Our buyers are accountable to develop and foster business relationships with strategic vendors/partners, consolidate spending, optimize costs and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality aerospace materials and components.

**Responsibilities**
- Processing purchase orders through company MRP, negotiating with suppliers, tracking orders, and maintaining inventory.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and improve efficiency.
- Assess supplier profiles and evaluate their capabilities, financial stability, and performance history.
- Analyze supplier offers, including pricing, terms, and conditions, to determine the most favorable options for the company.
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
- Utilize data analysis techniques to evaluate supplier performance, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify areas for improvement.
- Present data analysis findings to stakeholders in a clear and organized manner, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and delivery requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality, and operations, to ensure procurement activities align with project schedules and requirements.

**Qualifications**
- Experience in consolidating spend across multiple sites
- Assess supplier profiles and analyze offers
- Ability to present data analysis clearly and organized
- Proven experience as an Aerospace buyer or relevant role
- Experience in negotiating prices and terms and conditions
- Knowledge of market research, data analysis and purchasing best practices
- Working knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A strong analytical mindset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 6 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
