CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERVISOR

The Construction Site Supervisor will provide overall leadership for on-site field supervision and technical management for all construction operations, including direct supervision of on site employees, trade partners, and other construction related personnel. The Site Supervisor is responsible for directing and executing work according to the project plan, executing work on time, maintaining a safe work place, and promoting and enhancing the company image. Site Supervisors will be 'hands on' when required.

JOB DUTIES & CORE COMPETENCIES:

- Must have extensive experience in residential construction (Ontario preferred)
- Must be a motivated self-starter capable of working independently and with a team
- Able to read and interpret drawings
- Understand all rules, regulations, policies and local building code (Ontario)
- Must be prepared to work under pressure and be self motivated
- Ability to supervise upwards of 25 personnel at a time
- Enforce company’s policy regarding the safety work environment and quality procedure
- Coordinate the construction schedule and make sure the assigned tasks are completed on time and to the highest quality standard
- Control the delivery of material on site
- Identify, investigate, correct and document potential construction and safety problems
- Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Ensure the efficient use of labour, machines and materials used by the crew
- Manage on site client communications and change requests
- Monitor job progress and provide regular progress reporting to management
- Manage administration activities including; timekeeping and safety reporting
- Complete and maintain daily site logs, schedule updates, delivery receipts and packing slips, hours of service, etc.
- Inspect the quality of work and complete quality control checklists

We are seeking an individual who has the knowledge and skills required to successfully manage and take ownership of all on site aspects of a complex, high-end construction project. Work is year-round and full time, and pay for the position of Construction Site Supervisor will range from $75,000-$110,000/year, depending on experience.

Cliff and Evans Ltd. provides a comprehensive benefits package that will be available after 3 month probationary period, and a company vehicle may be provided for Site Supervisor usage as required.

GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Full Driver’s License
- Basic Awareness Safety Certification
- WHMIS Certification
- Working at Heights Certification
- First Aid
- Clean background/credit checks
- Punctual and reliable
- Own basic tools, for everyday use
- Willing to work on projects both North of Toronto and within the city

**Salary**: $75,000.00-$110,000.00 per year

- Singe Family Home Construction: 4 years (required)
- Residential Construction Supervisor: 4 years (required)

License/Certification:

- WHMIS Certification (preferred)

- Class G Licence (required)
